A Brief Bio

Following a successful career in automotive crash research, I attended Monmouth University's Professional Counseling Master's Program.  Graduating in 2010, with Academic Honors and a concentration in counseling students and children, I gained professional experience working in nonprofit agencies, private practices, and various school settings.

Having a passion for the treatment of trauma, I have completed trainings with the Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) & EMDRIA in EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) with the Center for Self-Leadership, and Hypnotherapy with the Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey. I am proudly an EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist.

In my practice, I strive to maintain the 8 C's (Calm, Curiosity, Compassion, Confidence, Courage, Clarity, Connectedness, Creativity) and 5 P's (Patience, Persistence, Presence, Playfulness, Perspective) of Self energy, as found in the Internal Family System model, with the hope that my client's will discover/rediscover these qualities within themselves.

To support women during their reproductive journeys, I have completed trainings regarding infertility, healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum mental health with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Post-Partum Support International (PSI), the Seleni Institute, the Doulas of North America (DONA) and more. I aspire to continue to build my knowledge-base and skill so that I might act as a comforting and reliable resource to my clients during this unique time in their lives.
